Flora and fauna
As the holder of a botany degree with a specialism in mountain ecology, I am happy to offer treks specialising in finding and photographing the floral gems of the Pyrenees. See the mountain flower photo gallery.
We can also go tracking izard (chamois) and sanglier (wild boar) or seek out some of the spectacular birds of the area, such as bearded vultures (lammergeir), gryphen vultures, and various species of eagles. There are also ibex in the Capcir. Have a look at the wildlife photo gallery.
Mountain navigation and survival skills
We are happy to organize special courses for groups in mountain navigation (with or without gps), and in survival and self-rescue techniques. The area is challenging in itself, and an excellent training ground for the higher ranges.
